With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Geyer in Petoskey, Michigan, born in Cheboygan, Michigan, who passed away on November 4, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eitel Kirsch (Ike) and Muriel Kirsch (Cousineau); her son-in-law Daniel Carlson; her grandsons, Daniel, Adam and Alan Carlson; and her sister Nancy Manning.
She is survived by: her husband Garfield Geyer (Gary); her children, David (Sally), Daniel (Michele), Thomas (Krista), Gary Geyer (Jean) and Lori Carlson (Daniel); her grandchildren, David (Julie), Matthew (Bethany), Nathan (Kaylee), Jacob (Ilia), Eric (Brittney), Nicole (Thomas), Andrew (Emily), Sara (Lucas) and Carrie; and her siblings, Richard (Christine), Robert (Marie), Dale Kirsch and Ruth Shampine (Richard). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
No services are planned at this time due to the pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial contributions to be made to the Cheboygan Humane Society and be directed to the Nordman-Christian Funeral Home at 302 S. Huron Street, Cheboygan, MI 49721.
