She was predeceased by: her husband Frank W. Muessig; and her sister Betty Lou. She is survived by: her children, Lorraine M. Starr of Kingsley, William F. Muessig of Traverse City, Debra L. Muessig of Petoskey and James F. Muessig of Petoskey; her grandchildren, Erica M. Starr, Jacob F. Muessig and Jason J. Muessig; her great grandchild Jace F. Muessig; her stepmother Margaret Johnson; and her siblings, Diane Daniel (Len), John Johnson (Cathy), Donald Johnson (Peggy), Robert Johnson (Dora), Mary Foster (Bill) and Annie Petitt (Jeff). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
