He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Smock and Margaret Smock (Ax); and his sisters, Betty Dines, Shirley Robuch, Lois Roberts, Marjorie Beaubien and Patricia Brey.

He is survived by: his wife Pamela T. Smock of Petersburg; his children, Ronald Smock, Jr. of Petersburg and Michelle Smock of Monroe; his stepson John Baxter of Lewis, SC; and his grandchildren, Brian Dye, Codey Smock and Sophia Michelle Belanger-Smith.

Memorial contributions in Ron's Memory are suggested to Arbor Hospice.
