John H. Straub Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John H. Straub of Petersburg, Michigan, born in Monroe, Michigan, who passed away on March 16, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Judith VanEtten; and his children, Kathy Straub, Doug Straub (Lee Ann) and Amy Szabo (Mark). He is also survived by five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
He was able to continue this training into his late 70's, when he had a knee replacement, then unfortunately the covid pandemic prevented him from getting back to it.
