She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Voss; her daughter Joyce Ann Smith; and her siblings, Ruth, Betty Jean, Robert, Edwin and Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Shelton (Paul), Marilyn Merkle (Larry), David Voss (Sally), Kathy Stringham (Dale), Don Voss (Darlene), Jon Voss (Cathy) and Richard Patterson (Richard); and her sister Helen Shipman. She is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Merkle Funeral Service (14567 S Dixie Hwy, Monroe Charter Twp, MI 48161). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. The lying in state will be held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lower Light Church (302 E Elm St, Petersburg, MI 49270).
