He is survived by: his children, Paul McConnell (Jodi), Tammy Van Norman (Brian) and Jamie (Matt); his grandchildren, Alicia McConnell, Andrew McConnell, Blake Van Norman and Sophie; his sibling Bobbie Nielsen (Doug); and his nieces and nephews, Mike, Michelle, Kim and Bryan Nielsen.
