It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirleen Kay Bennett of Perry, Michigan, born in Owosso, Michigan, who passed away on October 2, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alta Gladis Elliott and Harold Edward Secor; her husband Bernard Leroy Bennett, Sr.; her siblings, Joan Elaine Norton, Dawn Alta Mosher (Sherman Mosher), Judy Jean Woodbury (Wayne Woodbury) and Kim Alan Secor (Faye Secor); her children, Sandra Kay Bennett, Bernard Leroy Bennett, Jr., Karen Sue Bennett, Larry Allen Bennett and Rev Michael Harold Bennett (Nancy Jean Bennett); her grandsons, Tracy Allen Bennett and Jason Daniel Bennett; and her niece Melissa Secor.
She is survived by: her siblings, Gordon Harold Secor, Robert Edward Secor (Karen Secor), Terry George Secor (Penny Secor), Jill Schuppler (Walter Schuppler) and Pamela Sue Rosman (Keith Rosman); her grandchildren, Shawne Kay Martin (Jeff Martin), Shannon Marie Wilson, Jennifer Sue Muir (Eric Donaldson Muir), Jackie Diane Bennett, Alisha Bennett, Alison Jean Corey (Sam Corey), Jeffery David Bennett (Kristy Kay Bennett), Michael John Fockler (Rosa Moreno), Aaron Michael Bennett (Katie Bennett) and Jordan James Bennett (Steffi Bennett); her great grandchildren, Brandon David Bennett (Brianna Bennett), Kaden Bennett, Macey Bennett, Paige Noelle Lewis (Zachary Lewis), Mitchel Xavier Spiker, Keegan Fockler, Keanna Chapman (Parker Chapman), Tyler Bennett, Mercedes McDaniel, Max Markell, Kaelyn Jean Bennett, Audrey Katheryn Bennett, James Aaron Bennett, Caroline Jane Bennett, Beau Michael Bennett and Easton Samuel Corey; and her great great grandchildren, Bryden Bennett, Sutherlyn Bennett, Barrett Bennett, Ronan Zachary Lewis, Kira Noelle Lewis, Triton Xavier Lewis, Destiny Steele, Richie McNamara and Jason McNamara.
