She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Bolden and Goldie Bolden; her children, Robert Wilson, Emalene Wilson and Andre Woodall; and her siblings, Alma Wilson, Eugene Bolden, Annette Conley and Norvel Bolden.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Phifer Cox, Denise Hopson and Kimberly Burks. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twentyone great-grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
