He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cleo Godfrey and Helen Godfrey (Pitt); his wife Donna Jean Hanes; his children, Roberta Decker (William) of Bancroft, Deborah Gutting (Jerry) of Morrice, Rebecca Davis (Thomas) of Corunna, David Godfrey (Michelle) of Morrice and Rachelle Zaremba (Kerry) of Grand Blanc; and his siblings, Huey Godfrey of Morrice, Richard Godfrey of Bancroft, Anita Bowen of Holt, MI. and Gordon. He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren.
