He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Tobias and Minnie Tobias (Bovee); his son Thomas; his siblings, Shirley Minarik, Gordon (Bud) and Darwin Tobias; and his parents-in-law, Mae and Clayton Hinspeter.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hinspeter; his children, Melissa Hinkley (Scott) of Perry, Jon Tobias (Katie) of Brighton and Jeffrey Tobias (Jessica) of Perry; his brother Delbert Tobias; his sister-in-law Ann Tobias; his brother Robert; and his sister-in-law Donna Hinspeter of Tekonsha, MI.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
