She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Perkins and Mildred Perkins (Crawford); her former husband Howard Eagling; and her brothers, Clarence and Gail Perkins.
She is survived by: her husband James Lester; her children, Judith Sickles (Doug), Anita Castilla (Dan), Cliff Eagling, Dale Eagling (Michelle) and Chris Eagling (Angie); her grandchildren, Cassandra, Casey, Dana, Nicole of Kayla, D. J, Jake, Alli, Spencer, Mitchell and Parker; her great grandchildren, Damion, Emma, Madeline, Zoey, Dakota and Mackenzie Avyanna; her grandchildren, Trinity and Kira; and her brother Jim Perkins (Karen).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes - Perry Chapel (214 S Main St, Perry, MI 48872). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Sharp Cemetery (8300 Mack Rd, Howell, MI 48855).
Memorial Contributions in Charlene's name are suggested to Hospice of Lansing.
