We are sad to announce that on February 19, 2025, at the age of 85, Catherine Mary O'Rourke of Perry, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Catherine Mary leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Evans and Mildred Evans (Sawyer); and her sister Joan Frendreis. She is survived by: her husband Danny Martin O'Rourke; her children, Laura Dunbar (Jim) and Scott Brietzke (Jean-Marie); and her stepson Shawn O'Rourke (Dee).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Martha Parish (1100 W Grand River Ave, Okemos, MI 48864). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the All Saints Catholic Cemetery (700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
