He was predeceased by: his parents, Bethel Willits and George Willits. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Willits; his stepchildren, Amanda Temmen (Trevor) and Drew Edington; his sisters, Cynthia Hart (Darrius), Terry Willits Walls (Scott), Jennie Nerkowski (Richard), Heidi McAuley (Tom) and Donna Andrews (Matt); his sister-in-law Trisha Smith (Jason); his grandchildren, Swayze and Lenora; his nieces and nephews, Angela, Morgan, Erin, Kyle, Hannah, Victoria, Michael, Kate, Alex, Josie, Sylvie and Birdie; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Michael, Maddie, Aubrey and Liam.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes - Perry Chapel (214 S Main St, Perry, MI 48872). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the City of Perry Memorial Program, 203 W. Polly St., Perry, MI 48872 in memory of Carl for a bench and additional improvements at the Jubilee Park where he enjoyed running.
