She is survived by: her parents, Mike Hixson and Kathryn Hixson; her brothers, Luke and John; her sister-in-law Rachel Holmberg; her nephews, Luke and Wesley Hixson; her grandmother Lou Hixson; her grandchildren, John Betts (Shirley), Melanie Simpson (John) and Stacey DeGraaf (Amy); and her fiancé Eric Schutte.
