She was predeceased by: her parents, Steven Chapko and Elizabeth Chapko (Skriba); and her siblings, Bill, Anna, Joe, Mike, John, Tony, Frank, Irene, Helen, Steve and Charlie.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Soule (Harold) of Wellston, MI, Diane Willice of California, Jerry Chovance (Susan) of Perrinton, Cynthia Lewis (Michael Winnick) of Sault Ste, Marie and John Chovance of California; her grandchildren, Tami, Terry, Melissa, Jake, Carrie, Kevin, Andrea and Shannon; and her sister Mary Divish. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.
