She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick Knight and Agnes Knight (Kirker); her husband David Detraz; her children, Kendra Hutchins and Kyle Griffis; and her sister Vicky.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jessica Mikulka (Andrew), Michael Griffith (Sanya) and Thomas Hutchins, II (Casey); and her siblings, Marcia Bennett (Joe) and Larry Churchill. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
