It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melanie Walicki of Pentwater, Michigan, born in Frankfort, Michigan, who passed away on June 25, 2021, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Lewis "Lyndon" Kirby. She is survived by: her mother Pamela Kirby (Updyke); her husband Thomas Walicki; her children, Andrew Walicki, Meghan Greiner (Robert), Matthew Walicki and Amanda Walicki; her grandchildren, Destiny, Jacob, Emma, Nicholas, Ember, Elliott and Amaya; her siblings, Holly Rought (Robert), Shannon Genter (Kraig) and Paul Kirby (Lori); and her nieces and nephews, Brendan, Morgan, Abbi, Caleb, Luke, Claire and Alice.

During this time she had health complications from the procedure and was told she could stop, but chose to forge on with the donation while risking her own health.
