He was predeceased by: his parents, George Tickle and Etta Tickle (Timmons); his daughter Mary Jo Tickle; his son-in-law Jim Vaillancourt; and his sister Georgetta Kerr.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Hughes; his children, Jeannie Vaillancourt and Joseph James Tickle; his grandchildren, Heather Luttrell (Chris), Dr. Katherine Vaillancourt (Derek Stefanovsky), Tyra Martinez (Raymond) and Jacob Vaillancourt; his great grandchildren, Alexandra Lutrell, Rylie Luttrell, Alana Martinez, Gabriella Martinez, Hailey Jo Martinez and Remington Martinez; his sister Greta McDonald (Raymond); and his siblings-in-law, George Kerr, James Hughes (Melodie), Michael Hughes (Alice), Carol Keck and Patricia Todd.
