It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth Jean Kiefer of Pentwater, Michigan, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on November 17, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Candlin and Elizabeth Candlin (Otto); her husband Charles H. Kiefer; her daughter-in-law Nancy M. Kiefer (Fisher); her siblings, Ruth Johnson (Malcolm) and James Candlin (Estelle); and her grandson-in-law Doug Miller.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles C. Kiefer and Donald C. Kiefer (Susi); and her grandchildren, Donna Miller, Charlotte Kiefer, Carolyn Shimel, Steve Kiefer and Courtney Ashley. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
