With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eileen Ruth Griffis of Pentwater, Michigan, who passed away on December 17, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nick Spykerman and Wilhelmina Spykerman (Ruisch); her husband Roy D. Griffis; her daughters, Beth Griffis and Gloria Gale; and her brothers, John Spykerman and Wilbur Spykerman.
She is survived by: her children, Jared Griffis (Pamela), Gregory Griffis (Kristi), Amanda Jones (Keith) and Andrew Griffis (Fritzi); her sisters, Evelyn Nyenhuis and Elsie Kossen (Gordon); and her son-in-law Thomas Gale. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren.
