He is survived by: his children, Leon Griffes (Lorann) of Pentwater, Flora Stout (Daniel) of Norton Shores and William Ruffilo (Rose) of Florida; and his brother Delmas Griffes. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
