It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Wagenschutz of Pellston, Michigan, who passed away on January 15, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Wagenschutz and Clara Wagenschutz; his siblings, Harold, Richard, Max, Ruth, Ruby, Letty Johnson, Joan Steelman and Wilma Powers; and his granddaughters, Zoe Carr and Breanna Wagenschutz.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Wagenschutz; his children, Timothy Wagenschutz (Paula) of Mazon, IL, Mark Wagenschutz (Dawn) of Superior, WI, Stephen Wagenschutz (Donita) of Longmount, CO, James Wagenschutz (Julie) of Crestview, FL and Eva Carr (Chris) of West Burlington, IA; and his siblings, Wilbur Wagenschutz (Carol) of Marshall, MI, Hilda Grossman of Petoskey, MI, Barbara McKaye (Floyd) of Alanson, MI and Dorothy Honeysette of Carp Lake, MI.. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
