She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Kintz and Marie Kintz; her husband George Higgins; and her granddaughter Monica Sopha. She is survived by: her children, Joyce Hurley of Marlette and Dennis Higgins (Tarry) of Peck; her grandchildren, Troy Peters of Minden City, Tammy Chappel (Jason) of Marlette, Tiffany Higgins of Port Huron and Shane Higgins (Chrissa) of Midland; her great grandchildren, Kira Peters, Mariah, Marissa Benedict, Aliya Winkler, Savannah, Kate Higgins and Max Sopha; and her brothers, Jim and Dick Kintz.
Memorials in memory of Phyllis may be made to the United Hospice Services of Marlette, or the American Cancer Society.
