He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Seddon and Mae Seddon; his parents-in-law, Marvin and Betty Bruce; his brother Joseph Seddon; and his sister-in-law Lynda Seddon.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Bruce; his children, David (Tina), Dale (Michelle), Diane Bradley (Darryl) and Daniel (Mandy); his grandchildren, Kari Burnett (Patrick), Joel (Anca Ganahl), Scott (Ashley), Nicholas, Zachary (Megan), Katie Kaatz (Steven), Kyle Bradley (Gabrielle), Sean and Samantha; his siblings, Edward, Sue Shephard (Mark), Rick (Linda) and John (Loretta); and his brother-in-law Lloyd Bruce (Charlotte). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice, a charity of choice or the Melvin United Methodist Church.
