Viola Schmidt Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 19, 2020, at the age of 92, Viola Schmidt (Paw Paw, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman H. Zohr and Elsie A. Zohr (Selle); her former husband Arthur Schmidt; and her daughter Dianne Broeder. She is survived by: her husband Art; her children, Caroline Duncan (Patrick) and Mark Schmidt (Peggy); her grandchildren, Heather Parente (Wagner), Heidi Duncan (Brian Hake), Joe Broeder and Amanda Broeder; her son-in-law Bill Broeder; and her great grandchildren, Isabel Parente and Jasmine Parente.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Humane Society of Southwest Michigan or Saint Jude Children's Hospital.

I was out of country with my husband at the time and upon my return to my residence in Mexico things got a bit topsy-turvy due to the Covid crisis.
