He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Meyer and Marilyn Meyer (Zyskowski); and his grandson Spencer. He is survived by: his wife Adele Meyer (Tarsi); his children, Cassandra Meyer, Brian Meyer (Denise), Jason Meyer (Jodi) and Darin Meyer (Millessa); his grandchildren, Whitney, Sarah, Lauren, Kolby, Connor, Mikayla, Vinny, Tiffy, Anthony and Quinnly; and his brothers, Donald Meyer (Judy), Duane Meyer (Teri) and Doug Meyer (Nancy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
