He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Paul Scott and Gladys Scott; his son Monte Scott; his sister Margarite Priebe; and his wives, Ana Scott and Joan Scott.
He is survived by: his son Michael Scott (Patricia) of Battle Creek; his grandchildren, Christopher Scott (Ellyn) of Minnesota, Jeffrey Scott (Hope) of Battle Creek, Sarah Scott (Joel) of Kalamazoo and Matt Scott (Kirsten) of Williamsburg; and his stepdaughters, Lynn Dunkley and Vivian Lanham.
