He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Glenn Glidden and Nettie Glidden (Banks); his wife Margaret (Ziemba); his siblings, Laura White, Lee Glidden, Margie Harrell-Page, Cheryl Souther, Glenn Glidden and Rodney; his son Augustus; and his granddaughter Jena White.
