She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Louis McCarver and Edna Lee McCarver (Ive); and her son Paulie Vanengen. She is survived by: her husband Max Hill; her sons, Steven Vanengen (Cathy Helms), David Vanengen (Karrie) and Tim Vanengen (Tiffanie Reitz); and her grandchildren, Nathan Vanengen, Raymond Marshall, David Vanengen, Erica Braman, Lucas Vanengen and Logan Vanengen.
