He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Karpiel and Helen Karpiel (Nykaza); and his sister Helene Karpiel. He is survived by: his siblings, Joseph Karpiel, Louise Spangler (George), Marie Stimac (John) and Jean Joshua (Barukh). He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
