He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Jr. Zeiger and Elizabeth "Betty" Zeiger; his brothers, Tom and Den; and his niece Jessica Jensen (Matt).
He is survived by: his wife Melanie (Thompson); his children, Tracy Nelson (Miles), Jeremy Zeiger (Karen) and Jen Mallette (Dennis); his grandchildren, Tyler, Logan, Katie, Emalie, Lauren and Caleb; his siblings, Pat, Suzy and Bob (Brenda); and his sisters-in-law, Donna and Cathy.
A private service, due to Covid-19 restictions, will be held at Redmond Funeral Home, Kalamazoo with interment to follow at Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Sue's Loving Care, The First Congregational Church of Bangor or Paw Paw American Legion Post #68.
