He was predeceased by: his parents, George Guritz and Ella Guritz (Lindermann); his wife Genevieve "Jenny" Gurtiz (Sechman); and his siblings, Earl Guritz, Arthur Guritz, Melvin Guritz, Della Dillenbeck and Anna VanDenBerg.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Koziol (Martin) of Grand Junction and Darlene Barden (Blaze) of Allegan; his stepgrandchildren, Rachel Luscomb, Andy Koziol (Tammy), Brand Barden (Laura) and Destine Barden (Stephanie); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Hanna Cassel, Jessica Cassel, Lucas Luscomb, Tyler Barden (Alana) and B. J. Barden; and his great grandchildren, Julianna and Haasani Hunt.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice or Trinity Lutheran Church.
