She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Earl Sanders and Evona Sanders; her husband Richard Slevatz of Lawton; her children, Robin Beacham (Charles) of Lawton and Sanders Slevatz (Laura) of Portage; her grandchildren, Alana Barone (Johnny), Anna Fester, Sean Raymond, Marcus Pikkaart, MacKenzie Pikkaart and Grant Pikkaart; her great grandchildren, Sebastian Barone and Burklynn Pikkaart; her brother Gary Sanders; and her grandchildren, Kara Fester and Dominik Slevatz.
Evon was honored with a place in the Lawton Community Schools Hall of Fame, for her outstanding contribution to the school system, the community, and especially the young people of Lawton.
