It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David John Smead of Paw Paw, Michigan, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on December 16, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Otto Smead. He is survived by: his wife Monie Smead (Grim); his children, Amy Fuller (John) and David Craig Smead; his grandchildren, Brandy Kelley (Cody), Seth Brooks and Todd Fuller; his great grandchildren, Robert and RyLynn; his siblings, Larry Smead (Brenda) and Kathy Pitcher (Patrick); and his sister-in-law Alice Smead. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church in Paw Paw.
