He was predeceased by: his father Clare Doxey. He is survived by: his wife Chris Gilbert (Teen); his mother Joan; and his siblings, Terry (Christine), Mark (Cindy), Karen and Connie (Bob). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to St. Mary's Catholic School in Paw Paw, Michigan.
