He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Avery and Josephine Avery (Lamb). He is survived by: his wife Jeanne; his former spouse Jean Avery (Lemke); his children, Todd Avery (Penny), Thad Avery (Cheryl) and Tiffany Avery-Scott (Shani); his adoptive son Thomas Karadeema (Debbie); his grandchildren, Benjamin Avery (Katie), Zachary Avery (Ashley), Spencer Avery (Rachael), Grace Avery and Baxter Avery-Scott; his siblings, Sandra McRae (John), Gary Avery (Susie) and Richard Avery (Karen); and his brothers-in-law, Clyde Lemke (Carol), Chuck Lemke (Teresa) and Edward Lemke (Nancy).
