She was predeceased by: her parents, August Montai and Gertrude Montai (Heuermann); her husband Bruce Dahms; her siblings, Elsie Backus (Fred), William Henry Montai, Henry William Montai and Martha Marie Montai; and her son-in-law Paul Makay.
She is survived by: her children, Ken Dahms (Marge), Karen Makay, Kathy Dahms, Karalyn Voorhorst (Paul), Kevin Dahms (Barb) and Karla Dahms (Tracy Adams); her grandchildren, Andrew Dahms (Christy Smith), Katelin Makay, Margaret Joseph (Tim), Benjamin Voorhorst (Anne) and Rachel Baxter (Jake); and her great grandchildren, Liam, Wyatt Joseph, Chloe and Samuel Voorhorst.
