He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Roedel and Stella Roedel; his siblings, Ruth and Fred; and his nephew Alec.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Fischer; and his children, Kirk Roedel (Kelly), Marisa Leighton (Gordy) and Mary Williams (Eric). He is also survived by family members and dear friends.

Memorial donations in his name can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
