He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Banda Martinez and Guadalupe Cortez Martinez; his sisters, Juanita and Maria Josefina Medrano; his niece Marisa Medrano; and his nephew Little Joe Garcia.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Ann (Hogan); his grandchildren, Lilia Kathleen, Carson James and Kaleb Martine; and his siblings, Pedro C. Martinez (Silvia), Imelda Ramirez (Nick), Maria Isabel Osborn (Joe) of Jesus, Maria Estela Davison and Eva Narcisa Martinez. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
