She was predeceased by : her parents, Nellie Black (Toner) and Archie D. Black; and her husband Eugene B. Hedges (Pete). She is survived by : her siblings, Gerald (Doris Black), Richard (Elizabeth Black), Bruce (Norma Black) and Patricia (Charles Williams); her parents-in-law, Hulda and Harry Hedges; her daughters, Susan Patton (William) of Ann Arbor and Patricia Sipes Hedges of Portland, Oregon.; her grandchildren, William Hunter Patton (Arielle) of Ann Arbor, Jessica Aleksandrow Sipes (Dan) of Perth, Graham Thomas Patton (Brittney) of Ann Arbor and Nathaniel Bradford Sipes (Natalie) of Boise, Idaho.; and her great grandchildren, Margaux, Eloise, Cecilia Patton, Calder, Mawson Aleksandrow, David and Jonathan Sipes.
Ruth wanted no flowers to be sent or donations to be made on her behalf.
