He was predeceased by : his parents, Leonard Brown and Jane Brown; his wife Patricia Brown; and his sister Carol Bowen. He is survived by : his children, Mark Brown, Mary McCoy (Paul), Jeff Brown, Tim Brown (Barb), Larry Brown (Dawn) and Rick Brown (Jeff Keel); and his brother Roger Brown. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Henry Ford Hospice in memory of Gerald Brown.
