He was predeceased by: his children, Daniel, Amy and John Prater. He is survived by: his wife Sharon A.; his children, Michael Prater (Janice) of Parma, Emily Sullivan (Moe) of Parma, Timothy Prater (Pam) of Parma and Ted Prater of Parma; and his sisters, Allafar Caudill of Alabama and Lindy Prater of Jackson. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
