He is survived by: his wife Bette Hendershot; his children, Karen Cooley (Geoffrey), Julie Rowdon (Scott), Mary Ann Shuster (Dennis) and Dale Hendershot II (Kim); his grandchildren, Christopher Cooley, Rachel Cooley, Abigail Locke, Mara Cooley, Brie King, Haley Richardson, Ila Hendershot, Dale Hendershot III, Grant Hendershot and Kimberlyn Hendershot; his parents, William Hendershot and Ethel Hendershot; and his brother Neil Hendershot.
