She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Smith (Johnson) and Charles Sr. Smith; her stepmother Marie; her husband Thomas; her siblings, Charles "Bub" Smith and Pam Perrella; and her son-in-law Howard "Berry" Bennett.

She is survived by: her children, Kim Christiansen of Palo, Tonda Bennett of Carson City, Barry Christiansen of Palo and Khristie Cook (Bruce) of Portland; and her sisters-in-law, Carol Smith, Virginia Christiansen, Susie Christiansen and Linda Heinzmann (Fred). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
