He was predeceased by: his parents, Wize Braveman and Minnie Lewis (Carter); his in-laws, Lawrence and Norma Pixley; and his brothers, W. B. "Pete", Jimmy and Alan Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen S. Pixley; his children, Charles Dwayne, Michael Lewis (Mary Ann) and Lisa Murry; his grandchildren, Chase Lewis (Kathryn), Michael Alan Lewis, Alexander Murry (Ashly Winkleman), Sydney Lewis and Emily Murry; his siblings, Keith Lewis, Naomi Ballard, Betty Fay Brown and Rita Robison (Danny); and his in-laws, Sandy Pixley, Yvonne Prowant (Mick), Larry Pixley (Sandy) and Gary Pixley.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home – Adrian (3050 W Beecher Rd, Adrian, MI 49221). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, August 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Palmyra Cemetery E. Us (5963 US-223, Palmyra, MI 49268).
