He was predeceased by: his parents, August Salowitz and Martha Salowitz (Partaka); his former wife Marie; his siblings, Dorothy (Dick), Joanne (James), Cresent (Ila), Titus and Marcus; his stepchildren, Barbara Collins, Wallace Davis and James Cooper; and his niece Cecilia Herbon.
He is survived by: his wife Alice O'Mara; his daughter Pamala Salowitz of Roseville; his grandchildren, Olivia Skinner, Shannon Davis, Dona Cerasuolo, Vincent Saputo (Jamye) and Reed Saputo (Beth); his sisters-in-law, Barbara Salowitz and Gertrude Salowitz; and his stepchildren, Rhonda Belger (Doug), Renae Hewett (Brian), Michael Rich (June) and Maureen Kirkpatrick (Doug). He is also survived by many step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
