She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Walters and Beatrice Walters (Chase); her husband Joseph H. Van Dalen; and her brothers, Lawrence Walters, Lester Walters (James) and Carl Walters.
She is survived by: her daughters, Beth Samuelson of Palms, Patricia Smith of Palms, Sally Chiotti (Rick) of Laughlin, NV. and Carol Ruggero of Grand Blanc; and her siblings, Larry Walters of Big Rapids, Caroline Ellsworth of Rockwood, TN. and Katheryn Van Dalen (William) of Port Sanilac. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
