He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Cartwright Dawson and Marion Elizabeth Shaw. He is survived by: his son Robert Dawson (Tammy) of Attica, MI; his grandchildren, Allyson Bechtel of Mt. Pleasant, MI and Kyle Bechtel (Alexis) of Niles, MI; and his great grandchildren, Benjamin and Haddie Bechtel (Carol Albertson).
