We are sad to announce that on February 2, 2023, at the age of 89, Elmer M. Susalla of Palms, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Lucille Susalla; his brothers, Frank Nowak and Alger Nowak; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Nowak and Paul Vande Kerkoff.
He is survived by: his wife Rena Graff of Palms; his daughters, Nanette Susalla of Sandusky, Danielle Susalla of New Baltimore, Malinda Susalla (Mark Dean) of Columbus, OH, Michelle Brogdon (Jerry) of Chesterfield and Dionne Huffman (James) of Warren; his grandchildren, Candice Brogdon, Lauren Glowe, Dustin Brogdon, James Huffman, Grace Huffman and Simone Dean; his great grandchild Brooklynn Merriweather; and his siblings, Donald Nowak (Bonnie) of Turner and Diane Vande Kerkhoff of Omaha, NE. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many close friends and neighbors.
Memorials may be given to the Sanilac Medical Care Facility.
