We are sad to announce that on April 28, 2021, at the age of 75, Ralph Maki of Palmer, Michigan, born in Ishpeming, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Alan "Goofus" Ammesmaki. He is survived by: his sons, RJ Maki, Jr. of Negaunee, Shawn Maki (Stephanie) of Negaunee and Ryan Maki (Janette) of Grand Rapids; the mother of his children Susan Maki (Melka); his son Chris Ewald of Minnesota; his stepdaughter Melissa Matheson of Negaunee; his grandchildren, Alyson Maki, Josh and Kate Maki; his siblings, Kenneth Maki (Kathy Symons) of Negaunee and Karen Couture (Scott) of Ishpeming; his nieces and nephews, Duane Cotterman, Jodi Maki, Megan, Paige and Ethan Couture; his close friend Murphy; his brother-in-law Scott Couture; and also Kenneth Maki.
In accordance with COVID precautions, please wear a face covering and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in RJ's memory to UPAWS or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
